Luong Duc Hung was born in 1981, graduated from the Hanoi University of Fine Arts in 2012, the same year he started to pave his way into the Vietnamese contemporary art scene. Luong Duc Hung early works follow Pop-Art style, reflecting the modern lifestyle, pragmatism and consumer culture of Vietnamese youth which can be clearly seen through Shopping, one of the most successful works in his earlier career, which is currently feartured in the collection of the Tradition Museum the Vietnam University of Fine Arts. Luong Duc Hung later works concern more to the themes of the inner-self's confliction and torning apart. Much of his works depict a group of people huddling together, suffering, writhing like the humble and trivial individual who are trying to break out of their society casings. The Artist refreshes his artistic style by simplifying lines and forms but brings more thinking and symbols is his figurative shapes.
