I’m in love with the peaceful village landscape of Vietnam, the familiar images of the rice fields, the boats, the water wharves, the cottages, the bamboo set which is filtered from the memory, re-appeared in the work in romantic realism language . Lotus, the spiritual flower of the Vietnamese, is the subject that I am passionate in. I pursue in showing its simplicity but purity, I use clear and bright colors, conventional space to highlight the beauty of shape and colors of the Lotus.
Pure emotion and relaxation is my idea’s target when it comes to my landscape paintings and lotus paintings.
